    Two things I wanted to say:
    1. I think we should allow people to make guilds and stuff across races.  Each race should have a starting guild (the race's army) which every member is a part of, but then you can make or join another guild which will be separate from race restrictions, so not every member has to be the same race to play together.

    2.  Just trying to make sure we know this.  Not all of the Cait Sith have those giant cat ears on top of their head, it is possible to have just larger than regular ears w/ a bit of fur on them.  Case and point, her.

    1: agree those giant ears would like a weird for a dude.
    2: I had figured that it would be fine for multiple races in a guild- ie- take yuki, and her guild there multirace.
    3: I dont think we should have the race army.

    true, wasn't thinking about her guild. and maybe not, but in the anime they did have those giant armies of each race. I honestly don't really care one way or the other; i just assumed that we would be using them.

    I think those giant armies where each a guild, i could be wrong if so if they are the Race Army then we can implement it as an option to be in it.

    hmm that could workish- i think if we do that they have to go to their hometown to join the race army and register their guild there and to establish a guild maybe have them establish in the capital after selecting it from the main options ofc.

    Or when you reach like a certain lvl(are doing lvl, i guess no but fotgot) or certain amount of hours played a notice says, "Do you wish to join your race's army, conscript your guild" ish, something like that

    that might work. We should only have guilds that are all one race be allowed to join the army, though. Strong guilds that have multiple races can either fight for the side they want to on their own or get hired by the armies.

    And to hourlong, maybe you get that message when you reach the race's capital. There's an NPC or something that's an army recruiter and he runs up to you and gives you a flier, either asking you to join the army if you're solo or asking you to conscript your guild if you're in a guild. When you first boot up the game, you'll end up starting in a hometown, not the main town, and the main town will be surrounded by high lvl monsters so it will take a player a while to get there (assuming they aren't just a badass when they boot the game, and thus don't need the small bonuses gained by grinding skills to make it through the monsters).

    Actually, speaking of that, I was thinking that mobs in SAO and mobs in ALO should be relatively equal level, even though ALO has magic. And I was thinking that your regular sword attacks in ALO do the damage of sword skills from SAO. That way a player starts out with the ability to take out high level mobs and bosses from the second they boot their game, if they have the irl ability of an anime character, but magic and passive skills will just make it easier to fight w/out sword skills.

    I think combat- well sword combate- should depend on the players strength, the amount of damage the weapon can deal, and how far it cuts

    so we're still having separate strength and agility? How will you increase them if you don't have a leveling system anymore? Will strength and agility be tied to the equipment you're wearing? Or will it be raised just like other skills (agility increasing the more often you run/jump, etc. and strength increasing the more you deal damage to enemies.) Actually, I just got a really good idea. You can set from the beginning what percentage of your exp you want going to each of the categories that would generally be considered lvlup skills. Then, every time you kill a monster, the exp gets distributed to those categories and they level up that way. However, once you "master" the category then you can adjust which skills gain exp w/out losing the exp you already have in a skill. That's how players like Yuuki can be both agility and strength. And it won't be op because the modifiers will be minimal (if we want a noob to be able to hold their own against a veteran player if their irl skill is high enough.)

    Yeah the more u jump and ect the more ur strength and agility would lvl Though i like the way u have it set up with exp being distributed
    Also u guys do know that not every race can use all weapons right. Like the spriggan can wield any type of weapon

    I don't think we should do that... Maybe certain races can use certain weapons more effectively, but limiting certain weapons to certain races would make it harder for people to play the game how they want, which will make it less fun in the long run. I mean, we already changed flight so that it's more fun, so we can change that, too.

    sure does seem like they did, as klein/sinnon did hold weapons that u figured there wouldnt be able to hold.

    The magic sword skills are just the same sword skills from sao that's been ported over to alo, and then divided up into the magic categories, The unique skills didn't get ported though and then u have the original sword skill system thats been created as well- though we wont do sword skills until Aincrad is in-the game .

    well, more than that. We can use some of the basic ones and actually utilize the magic nature of them for creating new ones. Like we can have a fire sword skill that will blast out a burst of flame, or an ice sword skill that freezes the ground around you. Stuff like that.
