    Ok so I honestly I have a passion for anime and when I watched SAO something inside of me just wished that this was real life and when I saw this project I was extremely excited. It is my dream to model the weapons, houses, animals, etc in the game but sadly  Sad I have no experience. If training me would be a waste of time pls tell me the truth. If I couldn't be a 3D modeler then I would love to be a forum moderator because I could still help the team. If I am asking to much pls tell me. Thank you so much for your time Smile

    Well, the fms are full atm, we dont plan to add any for awhile. and we don't really have the time to train any one else, besides the few people that joined the team, and really didn't have much knowledge in 3d modeling but could do it to an extent.

    You could also self-teach yourself stuff. idk how old you are, but if your school/college has classes in stuff like animation or 3d modeling then you could take a class and submit some of your work once you have the skills. You could even take a class in graphics design using a computer, as a lot of those skills might be transferable to 3d modeling. We may not have the time or resources to train you, but if you can find some way to train yourself then we could always use the extra hand.

    If you do decide to try and learn how to model, good luck XD. If not, yeah the only thing I can really think of is to help spread the word as no FM spots are open and we aren't accepting donations yet. That and just staying active on the forums, this place can get kinda lonely sometimes...

    If you really want to 3D modelling you can start out with blender see some tutorials, it will take about a week to get really a hang for using blender if you completly new (or it could take 3 days if you learns as fast as i did, but really it is just moving some verts (points) around) Cool

    Ok so I did what you guys said and I followed a few tutorials and this is what I was able to make!

    imo the second sword is MUCH better than the first, but i prefer katanas anyway. For your first two models i would say they're pretty good.

    Ok so I decided to make another sword, I messed up a little on the bottom but does anyone know why on the hilt of the sword 2 of the blocks are the wrong color?
    ps. I tried changing the color but it wouldn't change like the other ones would.

    Actually it looks good, but try to use smooth shading instead of float (when you try to make to make something round you can instead of increasing how many poly there is, use smooth shading)

    You could also use vertex color (it's easier and faster for test purpose)
